Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
This course covers basic skills to work safely around hazardous materials. Participants will learn how to identify WHMIS pictograms and the types of hazards each represent. Topics cover employer and employee’s responsibilities, identifying labels and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Prerequisites: None
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. An annual refresher training is recommended.
