This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation) and AED training and certification.
After the course is complete, participants must produce their valid Alberta certificate and photo ID in person at an Alberta St John Ambulance Centre to obtain their BC Out of Jurisdiction certificate.
Prerequisites: None
Upon successful completion of all components, participants will receive a national certificate valid for three years. This course is certified through St. John Ambulance.

This course is designed for participants that can provide intervention for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. In accordance to St. John Emergency First Aid and the first aid requirements under the Ministry of Health – Community Care Licensing Branch, this course offers Emergency Scene Management with B.C. Level 1 certification and Level A CPR. The course also includes first aid training for adult artificial respiration, adult choking, bleeding, shock and 1 and 2 person CPR.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion that is valid for 3 years. This course is certified through St. John Ambulance.
