FAQ

COURSE INFORMATION

How long are your courses?

Every course has a different duration, with the shortest class time being 3 hours and the longest class time of 2 days. You can find the duration of each course by choosing your desired course under the Training & Courses page.

How many people are in a class?

This can vary from course-to-course, however, capacity and availability are visible on the Schedule page or by clicking on the desired course on the Training & Courses page.

I found the course I am looking for but none of the offered dates work for me.

We can travel to your office, location or worksite for group training. We can also provide customized courses to meet your company’s needs. Please contact us to further discuss your preferred dates, course requirements and location.

Can I extend my on-site course period or divide the total time over a certain number of days?

Depending on your situation, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please call our office at (780) 543 0353 so that we can discuss the best way to meet your requests.

Do we have to provide our own material/equipment?

Learn-Rite will provide the equipment necessary for most courses as many of them are designed to be a hands-on course. However, for our “Detection and Control of Flammable Substances” course, we ask participants to bring their own LEL monitor and pump.

REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation of course(s) must be made by 4:30pm the day prior to the selected course date or the “No Show” fee (cost of the course) will take effect.

What happens if Learn-Rite needs to postpone or cancel a course?

In the unlikely event or a cancellation, we’ll contact you by both email and phone.

How can I register for a course?

Our Training and Courses page outlines all the courses that we offer. Once you click on one, you can find the details of your desired course. You can also go to our Schedule page to see a calendar overview of our available courses. Once you have decided, the “Register Now” button will ask you to fill out your name, contact information, etc.

Do I pay before or after the course and what forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is accepted on premises, on the start date of your course. We accept credit card, debit, cash, and corporate accounts can be set up.

Will I be provided with a registration confirmation and instructions on what to expect before the course begins?

Once you have filled out our registration form, you will be sent an email to verify your registration. Participants will also be reminded of the course start time, registration time, the cancellation policy and the number to call if any questions arise.

Is there a deadline to register for a course?

We ask that participants register as soon as possible as classes do fill up. However, we do accept walk-ins space permitting.
