This course was designed by Energy Safety Canada (formerly OSSA course) to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to assess a confined space and its hazards. It offers emergency call in protocols, evacuation procedures and required rescue equipment. Participants will also learn the entry authorization requirements, job specific communication methods as well as monitoring confined spaces and signage for entry. This course is designed to meet the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) legislation. Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry and Monitor certificate is required to work in various industries within Fort McMurray.

Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion valid for 3 years.
