This 2-day course is designed for participants looking for basic level of first aid knowledge and CPR training. In accordance with St. John Emergency First Aid, this course meets first aid requirements for Canada Labour Code Standard First Aid and Licensed Child and Adult Care Facilities. It is designed to achieve B.C. Level 1 certifications and Level C CPR. The course includes first aid training for topics including infant, child and adult resuscitation as well as 1 and 2 rescuer CPR. It also covers fractures, burns, choking, severe bleeding and head injuries.
Notes: Day 1 of this course covers “Emergency First Aid & B.C. Level 1 Certification.'”
Upon successful completion of all components, participants will receive a national certificate valid for three years. This course is certified through St. John Ambulance.

This course is designed for participants that can provide intervention for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. In accordance to St. John Emergency First Aid and the first aid requirements under the Ministry of Health – Community Care Licensing Branch, this course offers Emergency Scene Management with B.C. Level 1 certification and Level A CPR. The course also includes first aid training for adult artificial respiration, adult choking, bleeding, shock and 1 and 2 person CPR.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion that is valid for 3 years. This course is certified through St. John Ambulance.
