Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection

This course is designed to provide participants with responsibilities, provincial regulations, employer policies and procedures. Participants are taught how to assess hazardous environments as well as learning how to use different types of fall protection systems depending on the type of fall (ex., slips, ladders, lower level, etc). Participants will demonstrate how to inspect the situation, select proper equipment and perform specific procedures related to fall hazards in the workplace. OSSA Fall Protection certificate is required to work in various industries within Fort McMurray.

Prerequisites: Participants must be physically capable to perform the required exercises to pass the program.

Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion valid for three years.
